There are several opportunities to volunteer with the FOPBSHS:

PARK DAY – Held on the first Saturday in April. Here is a list of what we do on that weekend:

Pick up trash and limbs along trails and other areas of the park.

(Horticulture) Mulch, Plant, and Pull Weeds

·(Preservation) Restoring land and structures around the park to its war time image

ANNUAL REENACTMENT & LIVING HISTORY PROGRAMS

Held on the first weekend in October. Here is a list of we do on that weekend:

Work the FOPBSHS booth

Help with check-in and registration

Assist the Park Staff in areas as needed

There is always plenty of work to be done at the park. At anytime of the year, if you or your group would like to come out and lend a hand, please contact us or the park and we can get you plugged in!!!
